A little piece of world peace.

"Peace is my passion. Paxior is my project."

The founder

I grew up moving.

As a teenager I spent a year in former East Germany, just a few years after the wall came down. I used to ride the streetcars and talk to strangers — sometimes skipping school to do it. Once I was fluent in German I began reading Goethe, Kant, Nietzsche, Marx. I observed the German Bundestag, the UK Parliament, the US Congress. I had friends from everywhere.

In my twenties I did international relief and community work across Europe, Latin America, and Asia. Everywhere I went, I learned from conversations. When it’s your second language, you listen a lot.

All of these places, landscapes, and people have shaped me. The world is my home. Since childhood I dreamed of Africa and Japan. Last year I finally visited both. I’m now a flight attendant — and everywhere I go, I stretch my mind.

My background is in peacework, teaching, and performance. For years I taught English, writing, and theatre to students in grades 7 through 12 — and acted and directed in theatre myself. I served as a founder, teacher, or school director in Mexico, Sweden, Iceland, and England, and coordinated fundraising and relief efforts for hurricane survivors in India.

What I learned across all of it is this: the most powerful thing you can do in any room is create the conditions for an honest conversation. Theatre teaches you to listen. Writing teaches you to find your voice. Relief work teaches you that human dignity is universal.

That belief is the foundation of Paxior.

The United States is deeply divided. Our politicians and media feed on that division, but it’s ordinary people who suffer. Rampant disinformation and isolation have left many unsure of what to believe. The internet connected us — but everywhere I go, people are staring at their phones.

Isolation and futility fuel extremism. They are cited as primary factors in mass shootings and violent unrest. Paxior is not a bandaid. It’s a practice — a repeatable ritual for real human connection that strengthens communities from the inside out.

One conversation at a time, Paxior will knit the fabric of our society back together. Our beginnings are local. Our future is global.

The human spirit is capable of anything. Just because we haven’t done it yet doesn’t mean it isn’t possible.
